Course Overview
This course will help you to gain the foundation skills to perform the role of a business analyst (BA) in both waterfall and agile project environments. This course covers planning business analysis activities; the basics of eliciting, analyzing, modeling and writing requirements. You will learn how to verify and validate product requirements, gain approval, and manage the requirements through the life cycle of the project. Understanding the role of the BA in the project’s design, development, and testing phases of a project will greatly improve its chances of success. Gaining a new perspectives through hands-on, interactive group activities led by subject matter experts. Enhance your experience through videos, discussions, and reflections. Get relevant tools, templates, and samples to continue your learning experience after the course and practice when you can.
There is a short exam at the end of day 3 to demonstrate your achievement.
According to the BABOK Guide by the International Institute of Business Analysis, the art of “Business Analysis” is the art of knowing how organizations function to accomplish their objectives by defining their capabilities that an organization may need to produce their products or services to external stakeholders”.
